E-Health Europe is the independent online news and information service dedicated to healthcare information technology issues throughout Europe. This portal attracts a readership of IT industry and healthcare professionals worldwide.

E-Health Media's co-founders and directors are:

Jon Hoeksma

An editor and journalist with 10 years experience of the healthcare sector. Jon is a former editor of Health Manager Today, and reported on health IT issues for a variety of publications including Computer Weekly, the Health Service Journal, Reuters Health and British Journal of Healthcare Management. Before entering journalism Jon was an NHS graduate trainee working in Southampton, chiefly in primary care. He graduated from the University of Warwick in 1991.

Linda Davidson

An editor and writer with 20 years experience of the healthcare sector, Linda is a former Editor of Nursing Times (1988-92) and Editorial Director of Macmillan Publishers' health magazines, now Emap Healthcare (1992-8). She holds an MBA from the University of Warwick Business School.

Sergei Sollo

An Economics graduate Sergei has worked in Publishing since 1991. A career starting at Emap then led to him becoming Publisher at the Daily Mail Ski magazine where he spent seven years. He then returned to Emap and gained his first experience of the healthcare market as Group Sales Manager for their healthcare portfolio of magazines including Health Service Journal and Nursing Times. He recently joined E-Health Media as Sales Director. Outside of work Sergei still plays amateur league football ever Saturday and enjoys skiing and tennis when times allows.

Samantha Davidson

An English honours graduate from the University of Surrey, Samantha joined E-Health Media in February 2007 as Account Manager. With over six years advertising, sales, and marketing experience in print, exhibition and on-line, Samantha is responsible for new business development and current client relationship management across the E-Health Media portfolio.

Lindsey Birnsteel

In 2006, Lindsey graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc in Information Systems Management. She spent her course year researching healthcare IT issues, with a particular focus on the UK's National Programme for IT. Her most recent work experience includes quality assurance at a marketing firm in Virginia, USA, and freelance marketing for a medical software company. Lindsey joined E-Health Media in February 2007 as Technology Services Manager and Research Editor.

Joe Fernandez

In 2006, Joe graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a honours degree in Journalism. He has worked as a freelance reported for regional newspapers in London and Lancashire, and has contributed material to national newspapers. He was also a staff reported for his student newspaper Pluto. In 2005, Joe was nominated for a national newspaper most promising new talent media award and finished in third place. Joe joined E-Health Media in August 2006 as a staff reporter where as well as covering industry news, he also contributes to the Comment and Analysis section.
